Sinhala Literacy Association of Kegalu Vidyalaya is one of the active prominent association contributing for many years. It serves for the grade 10 & 11 students giving them opportunities to show their talents to improve the attitudes while allowing them to learn.
The secretary and president are selected from the grade 10 & 11 students & this allows them to practice how to handle a group of people and to participate in activities without stage fear.Many members in the Sinhala Literacy Association were able to get prices & awards from essays, singing & drama competitions during Literacy day competitions thereby giving our school a good name.
Weekly meeting which include many educational programs and contests which help our brothers in grade 10 & 11 to improve their knowledge and abilities.With the blessings of our dear teachers this Sinhala literacy association has become a great success and we are proud to be a part of it.
